The Oldest Chess Club in the United States

I would like to bring to your attention a wonderful article that appeared today on the webpage of 7X7SF about the Mechanic's Institute chess club in San Francisco. There is a picture of the club which brought back memories of the times I have been fortunate enough to play or visit.
